Wash the boat down at the slip and walk away while it's still wet. One patent-pending system softens and filters the dock water, then finishes with a true spot-free rinse, so the gelcoat dries clean instead of chalky.
The rinse is where a good day goes wrong.
You start at the bow and work aft. By the time you reach the transom, the bow has already spotted. So you go back with a towel, on a hot dock, at the end of a long day, and you do it again next weekend. Dock-supplied fresh water can be hard, and hot surfaces dry quickly. Over a season those minerals stop being a cosmetic problem. They pack scale into the washdown pump and fittings while hazing glass and dulling polished stainless. Salt spray adds a separate cleaning load. This system treats a suitable fresh-water supply; it is not a seawater desalination system.
It dries faster than you work
Hard washdown water sets before the towel gets there, and it leaves film exactly where people look first: gelcoat, glass, polished metal.
The part you don't see until late
Mineral deposits can become harder to remove over time and may be associated with etching. Below deck, that same water leaves scale inside the freshwater plumbing, and none of that is enjoyable to service.
Treat the water at the hose, not the hull.
H2O Simplified is a patent-pending 3-in-1 unit. Hook it to the dock spigot, or bring it along when you trailer in. The connected onboard supply is softened and filtered. A dedicated DI stage provides the final exterior rinse. Come off the water, rinse the boat, go get dinner.
- Spot-free rinse: hull, glass, hardware. Rinse it and let it air-dry. No towel, no chasing the sun down the dock.
- Soft, filtered water: better water in the galley, the head and the freshwater tank, at the slip and after you leave it.
- Easier on the hardware: softened water helps keep scale off fittings, pumps and the washdown system. That's the kind of maintenance you only notice when you've skipped it.

Fresh water or salt. Slipped year-round or backed down the ramp on a Saturday. The unit can be configured around a suitable fresh-water hookup. Mounting, pressure limits and service access need to be checked for the boat or trailer.
